The Land Use/Building Department now has PermitLink software to enter all building permits via the cloud. Payments are accepted through Point and Pay. Please follow this link.
Chief Building Inspector - As of November 1, 2018, the new hours for the building inspector and to obtain building permits, will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Inspections will be done as requested and will be done outside of the above times. To obtain a Building Permit, the following is required:
- Tax Release
- WPCA Release
- Drivers License
- Contractors License
- Completed Permit Form
- Check or Money Order made payable to The City of Ansonia
- Fire Marshall sign off required on all commercial and residential property (three family and over).
