The Ansonia Registrars of Voters will hold a voter registration session on Friday October 18, 2024 from 9AM to 8PM in their office at Ansonia City Hall, 253 Main St. Ansonia. Ansonia residents who are or will be 18 years old by November 5, 2024 may register to vote. Kindly bring ID and proof of Ansonia residence. Voters can also register online at: www.voterregistration.ct.gov

Early Voting in the 2024 Presidential Election
Early Voting will be available for 14 days prior to the Presidential Election.
Early Voting Days: October 21st through November 3rd
Early Voting Hours:
10AM-6PM: October 21st through October 28th, October 30th, November 1st-3rd
8AM-8PM: Tuesday October 29th and Thursday, October 31st only

Voters who are not registered to vote may Register at Early Voting and vote same day
But it’s best to register to vote well in advance to avoid complications!
Absentee Ballot Information
The Registrar of Voters department does NOT handle the distribution of Absentee ballots,
To request an Absentee Ballot, complete an application here, or call the Ansonia Town Clerk at (203)736-5980
The CT Absentee ballot procedure is a very intricate procedure, and not following instructions properly may result in your vote NOT being counted.
Register to vote or change your voter registration
You can register to vote entirely online at the following State of CT Website: VoterRegistration.CT.gov
You should never trust an alternative link to register to vote. Hackers can easily steal your information, and other websites are not directly connected to the Registrar of Voters office.
IMPORTANT: Voters who miss the Voter Registration deadline are still eligible to vote on Election Day.
If you did not register in time, present to Ansonia Town Hall Lower Level between 6:00AM through 8:00PM on Election Day. Please bring your Driver's License (or other form of Identification) and a postmarked piece of mail from October 2024 or sooner with your current residential address in Ansonia.

All Polls are open on Election Day from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please be in line no later than 8:00 p.m. or you will not be eligible to vote. If you are in line by 8PM, you will be permitted to vote past 8PM.
